Hi Tara!

Thank you for organising our amazing holiday in Namibia! We had the best time and the hotels, locations and activities you organised were just fab-u-lous!

The feedback is as follows:

Windhoek - location and hotel were excellent. The consultant from Chameleon met us and answered all our questions and was very helpful. We especially appreciated the travel pack with the print outs etc. We went to Joe's Beer house ( of course) for dinner and early to bed as were so tired.

Namib Desert Lodge: very nice lodge with really lovely staff. They were extremely attentive and the cook was especially friendly, always coming out to see how her meal was! It was really great food. The trips to the dunes was fun, albeit a bit windy and rainy!! They said they had never experienced weather like that before so I think it was another first! We also went to the canyon which was very impressive.

Swakopmund: Lovely B&B, very welcoming and extremely clean. We loved the quad biking and Sandwich harbour tour - super fun and everyone was again lovely and welcoming.

Ai Aiba Painting Lodge : Wow, what a place. Stunning location and also lovely welcome. The guide we had was super nice and informative. We had sundowners and met some lovely people. The highlight was the managers dog arriving from Windhoek and following us everywhere (we are big animal lovers). The lodge was beautiful and very clean. The view from our room amazing!! The San living museum was interesting, however since we were only 2 there I felt a bit awkward as they danced and sang for us !! But it was cool, we got some nice Ostrich bracelets from them.
And then leaving the next day and the exceptional sighting of the leopard! Wow, it was so cool!!

Etosha : Obviously as its government run its not the nicest of hotels, however it was very clean. The only problem was their toilets didn't flush (just dribbled) so that was a bit annoying. We actually met some friends of my friend in Nabid desert lodge... was so funny its such a small world so we ended up bumping into them a lot along our journey. We met them in Etosha and they had the waterhole chalets and invited us for sundowners - I would have preferred to stay there even if an additional cost as we both didn't really like the hotel room there. But, as you know, most of the time you are out of the room so it doesn't matter that much. I would just maybe highlight that to anyone who asks for a price drop and reasons why it would be better to stay in the waterhole room. The food was not as good as the other places, but it was still tasty.
The waterhole location was just fabulous. We saw everything there and felt like we didn't even need to go for a game drive!

Okonjima - This was Michael and I's favourite place. It was just amazing being so close to nature. I was outside having a drink on the porch and Michael said "Jackal", and i turned around and this naughty little Jackal was sneaking up on me. Was funny. Then we came home one night to find 5 Kudu eating the seeds from the tree outside our room. Was just great being so close to nature, and of course, the last sighting of the leopard eating the baboon, with the hyena underneath... and then the baby leopard coming out... omg it was amazing.
The place was extremely clean, great service again, the Namibians are so welcoming and kind. The food was delicious!

So overall, just wonderful! I will get some nice photos for you and send them over later, I haven't had time to go through the ones on my camera yet.

I was at work this morning and I told a colleague about the trip and she said oh send me the details, so I emailed her your website and explained the trip I did so you might get a lead with her.. who knows!

Thanks again and take care

Kathryn
